How can a blog about fashion, socializing and meeting cool people takes shape other than with a beautiful friend, in a beautiful place talking about beautiful things? He made me realize that I can finally make my dream come true. I have to thank him for that. From that moment on, my huge passion for fashion, places for socializing and cool people had a name: Monoclu.

I am Simona Preda and I studied Psychology, Psychotherapy and Military Psychology in National Defense, and I’m currently working as an Event Manager and PR. I attend a lot of workshops about fashion, style and design and I organize urban fairs. I manage artists and I enthusiastically go to live events and good concerts.

I have a great lover called fashion and not only do I see him in my wardrobe, but also in my attitude, body language, my way of talking, watching and choosing a style that fits perfectly with my personality. It doesn`t matter if he’s a monk today and a perv tomorrow, if I can assume it and wear it properly, he is perfect. He can be perfect for you too, as long as you know that he is yours. I love this Rachel Zoe quote: “Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.“

After spending all my life learning about people, now I’ve decided to write about them and this crazy city called Bucharest. But not in the usual way as I am curious about their crazy and unique fashion style, habits, singularity and eccentricity.

One of my favorite ways of killing time is get my ass off the couch and go out. From long talks with my friends over a glass of wine to business meetings or lazy Sundays, I can`t get tired of the streets of Bucharest or the events and parties that happen here.
