ALT SHIFT: THE FULL OF LIFE PLACE IN BUCHAREST

And I say it’s full of life because I’ve been here countless times and almost every single time it was full of people. I take that as a good thing.
I’ve known of Shift and Alt Shift for some years now. I come here often, and that’s not something I usually do. I am so curious and I crave new places so much that I rarely ever go somewhere twice.

I reached no. 4, Constantin Mille for a coffee and a delicious lunch. On Tuesdays, in Control, this never happens. I take there an alcoholic lunch. I happen to find here nice, different people. TV stars, young students, you name it. Whoever they are, whatever they do, they are all cool. This place is cool, urban, a little bit arrogant and friendly altogether. I could not explain what this means any clearer. You really must taste the vibe yourself.

It inspired me to wear something a little bit vintage, a little bit hipster-like. If I wear heels, they must be casual. I don’t know what it is about the ravished jeans, but I think they look good in the picture. I matched them with a jeans shirt and a vest. These shoes reflect the sweetness Cristina Maxim offers with her products. They are extremely comfy. I would also wear cloth and Converse sneakers, leather and loose T-Shirts; even the disheveled ones look great! I have been wearing my cool Joulery house pendant for a week now, and I wore it today as well. I like it a lot.

What could I choose? What do I like here? Let me name a few of my favorite dishes: calabrese zucchini, the Arabic plateau, the spinach pasta, with mozzarella al forno, the Alt Shift salad and the one from dry tomatoes and nuts, the veal with foie gras and cranberries, the sardinia and zucchini pizza, the meringue cake and… ahh… the list can go on. The food is great and the prices accessible.

When should you go? You can tell I like the place, so I invite you to come enjoy the parties in Control whenever you feel like it. They are a lot and they are great. Actually, I only hear bands like The Mono Jacks, Omlette, EMIL, Helen, Firma, Otherside, Coma live here, in Control.
You really must come here on Tuesdays for drinks, not only because the drinks are cheaper, but also because there’s this atmosphere. I go in Alt Shift any other day during the week, just to eat. Rarely do I find a table during the weekend.
