I reached No. 34, Jean Louis Calderon, at Beautyfood, a bistro very much to my tase. First of all, the places in which you get to socialize with their owners have a special place in my heart. Let’s just make a tour.
I met Elena, a very cool woman who told me how she started this business. She is a former corporate employee who was, at some point, having a rough time. She realized she wasn’t happy and decided to stop. Encouraged to follow her dreams, on her birthday, she received an e-mail in which she could find a small business plan. She put it into practice and Beautyfood became true. She learned everything she needed to know about responsibility, went on hopeful and here she is!
It inspires me to wear traditional clothes or to come here dressed casual-hippie. Today, I had a traditional ie and flared trousers. I chose a feminine outfit and I did well, I guess. The architecture of this place is based on two elements: Beauty – a wall full of mirrors, as big as the ones on the opposite wall. The latter symbolizes the other element: Food. I find this very cool, the kitchen being associated with beauty.
I had my meal on the terrace because I needed to keep the sun company. I enjoyed a glass of prosecco and a fluffy blanket and felt extremely bohemian and cozy.

I have to tell you something about my favorite meals. The seafood pasta and a delicious breakfast, with avocado, omelette, cherry tomatoes and dill….ah, it makes me crave them again. The food really comes down from heaven, because there is an elevator behind the bar, where the barman puts the plates. It looks amazing and it really is their signature. They take great care of their food and I felt it the second I came in and saw the plating.
