I have to admit that marriage has been haunting my thoughts lately. Not because there is a social pressure or other such nonsense, but because I am in love and it goes hand in hand with the big day. For me, marriage is an emotion, a spiritual bond and a promise towards another level of mutual respect. I get an empty feeling in my stomach just thinking about it! All bohemian in THAT dress for me with butter-white lace and long sleeves (and eventually a collar), together with my friends which are jumping of excitement!

I wanted to put into practice a movie scenario and try on wedding dresses, but to be honest I didn’t have the courage. Instead, I “dropped” at a ballroom, and the sensation was maximum! I imagined everything, and from the happening of a wedding I came up with a list of 10 important things that I would consider:

1. The reception. I has to look good, the guests will practically enter through here, we will take photos here, the first click has to happen here, and for me it did! Everything chosen in good taste, simple, beautiful colors, good coffee, flowers, the whole deal.

2. The bathroom: I took a quick look there because I know how we are, we talk there, we freshen up there, we powder our noses there and it has to be a clean and warm space. I loved the wallpaper, the generous space, the hygiene products (because they make the difference) and if you can believe it, the liquid soap from Tork’s smell :))

3. The event venue: be it a ballroom or at the edge of a pool, I don’t want to see red purple or other colors of that kind! I’ve had it with indigo weddings and thank God that I’ve seen some wonderful spaces here. We couldn’t take photos due to the weather but you can see here what I’m talking about.

4. The wedding dress: I’ve told you, I lean towards vintage, not too classic, not the princess look, a bit more lace, collars, sleeves, overlays, avoiding the sexy vibe, rather going for bohemian and confident.

5. The music: I don’t have any problems here, I have so many friends that sing that I don’t even want to imagine what’s going to happen!

6. The invitations: I want all the people for whom I feel something to come. Friends, family, colleagues, I’ll welcome anyone who means something to me.

7. The rehearsals: Well, I will be ecstatic very early on, while in the organizing phase. Even planning is my thing and I like it, do you imagine how I will be when it will come to THIS event? Oh, God…

8. The food: Huh, my lover is a chef and I’m the biggest female foodie there is. I love dishes that are beautiful, tasty and have personality. I don’t want the traditional wedding menu, I want cool stuff!

9. The flowers: My dear friend Nicoleta is a floral artist and is super-mega-extra talented, so… I won’t even bother worrying about this matter! They will probably be peonies, jasmine and lotsssss of lilies of the valley!

10. The wedding bedroom! UPS… I saw it, but I won’t give you any details on this matter. I am blushing!
