Arriving at Sky Bar Dorobanti I decided to write about this place. I’ve known about it for some time now and I meet with my friends quite a lot on the rooftop that shows us Bucharest from above. I discover new places every day, I like the nomad style of trying them all, and when I return to a place that I’ve already been to it means that certain elements brought me back there. The famous sunset has to be felt, because you can`t see how beautiful it is until you feel it.
It matters to me:
Location: If I go to a new place I immediately realize how quickly I’m won over. At Sky everything is white, minimalist, the blue sky overhead and the sun that forces you to put on your coolest pair of sunglasses.
Products: I go to certain locations for their shakes with all kind of flavors and smoothies with wild berries, kiwi and mango, fusion dishes and desserts that make me applaud when they arrive at the table. I found here a cocktail with ice cream, melon with a hint of alcohol and the best beef salad I have ever eaten. We had breakfast many times here and I was never dissapointed.
Service: You can’t feel otherwise but friendly here. I never knew whether the person serving me is a waiter, a bartender or someone in management. Everyone behaves as if there is a big gang made available just for me.
Elements make the difference: I look for defined places. Places with an unique idea, some other kind of events, an atmosphere you can only find there. They opened the first café on the roof of a building and they started the rooftop trend in Bucharest. An idea that should be respected and clearly a touch of difference
The cocktail outfit: I chose a pink tulle skirt with a floral embroidery, a satin bra with see-through back that adds a touch of sensuality to the outfit, a pair of black suede boots and a pink jacket donned with zippers. To diminish childish look I wore a big black flower hair accessory that I love and that adds a gothic glam effect on me.
