SIMBIO, MY CHARMING HOME

It is my pleasure to present to you Simbio, one of the newest discoveries in the Absolutely Amazing Places Series. Located in one of those houses in which my heart feels at home, Simbio is where I enjoy my coffee early in the morning, where I happily spend time working, where I go out to have breakfast and where I go out with my friends, boyfriend and where I even go out by myself, just to enjoy the experience.

I arrived on 26th, Negustorilor Street, in a room which fascinated me at once, the moment I stepped in. The high ceiling, made of glass, the bar full of tiny bits of mirrors, the bourgeois stoves, the metallic decorations and the kitchen placed in the middle of the room, they all share the strong personality of the pub. Behind the house, through the garden, you can go downstairs, into a cellar or upstairs, into a bright attic. Each corner of the house is cool. Simbio is cool. Let me present to you some of the most amazing things I found here:

It inspires me to wear anything that reflects my personality. Since Simbio reflects my personality, it is bohemian and I could not wear things I only like. Likes will not do. This is the place in which I can only wear something which screams Simona. For example, I have a very hot spot for this dress, made by Oana Nutu. It simply stood out from tens of other dresses and we clicked at once. It really is daring and, matched with this violet Make-up Forever lipstick, looks amazing. When I want to come here to just enjoy the food or to have a smoothie, in the afternoon, I just put on some flared pants, with high heels or not, a wide blouse or a shirt with embroideries.

When it comes to my favorite foods, I have to place this burger first. It is made of avocado, dried tomatoes, beef and goat cheese. Then, right after this delicious burger, there is this beef salad, made with cashew nuts, rice pasta, beef and ginger. I also adore their apple pie, which I simply stumbled upon one day, and their… well… the most delicious carrot cake on the face of the Earth!

When are we to go out to Simbio? I, myself, go there anytime. This place is so full of amazing people… I love it best when I go there alone. There is an energy which gives me the strength to be productive… I find my inspiration there. I could also say that it makes me remember my best friends. We together spent a lot of fun nights out there, in the garden, enjoying quinces and the drinks at the bar. Home, at Simbio, you can find light, good food, nature, sun, smiles, architecture and Bucharest. We are loving it!
