TASTES FADE. FACTS STAY.
I want to tell you about a very nice event, organized by Merci Charity Boutique. It’s called Charity Lunch #10 – a lunch for you or a special gift offered to a friend, with an admired personality.
It will happen Thursday, 8 September, like this: two persons can have lunch with CABRAL IBACKA, making a donation towards the association.
Cabral, one of the pioneers of blogging in Romania, TV host for 20 years, MC, movie actor, former athlete… a human with a powerful personality, sociable and with a sparkling humor, will certainly be a grade 10 discussion partner.
The funds obtained from the donations support “Caravana Zâna Merciluță”, a project of stomatology treatments for children from villages and children with oncological diseases. The lunch is offered by Osteria Ciao Niki (str. Mihai Eminescu, nr. 90).

The personalities from the first 9 editions were: tennis player Horia Tecău, actor Marius Manole, journalist Alex Dima, movie critic Irina Margareta Nistor, actress Oana Pellea, doctor Raed Arafat, CEO Google Romania – Dan Bulucea, movie director Nae Caranfil and Andreea Marin.
Let us remember what these wonderful people are doing: MCB is a non profit organization which founded in 2012 the first charitable Concept Store in the country. The purpose of the organization is to offer support to humanitarian causes, having in the foreground children with medical and social problems. Ongoing projects:
Health project: Zâna Merciluță (free stomatology treatments for children with oncological diseases and children from poor families).
Education project: MERCI la sat (a project that aims at improving the learning conditions of children from villages by renovating schools, creating computer labs and preventing school abandonment through the granting of scholarships for continuing high-school studies for children with social cases).
