I was 30 minutes late. I hate doing that, I cannot understand, not even now, how Bucharest was so busy on Wednesday, December 9th, and make all cabs vanish! Plus, I felt horrible when I found out no one I knew was at Pow Wow to tell me what was going on! I was starting to feel sick and expect the worst.
However, everything changed when I got to open the two transparent doors. I could see clearly, all butterflies went away from my stomach. I saw my friends, started hugging them and, as I saw their smiles, my heart filled with joy. Everyone was socializing, they were having a great time and were talking about Monocle, the little prince of the night. I saw my college friends, my collaborators, family members, close friends and friends of friends, artists, bloggers and cool people, they were all there to congratulate me and offer me their support. My friend, Ana, cried when I delivered my speech (could our friendship be more authentic?!). A lot of funny things happened. We sang together, police fined us for loud noise, we enjoyed wine and laughed full-heartedly with my unique hair stylist who was, of course, wearing a likewise unique hat!
I met new and beautiful people. I admire them especially for having inside them that special feeling which made them join the party. They were all cool. I, Damian, Luca and Ana talked about fashion and the collections the young designers had just launched. I debated blogging with Fere and talked about music with JO, Georgia, Florian, Andi, Marian and Alexandrina. I discussed PR with Ingrid and my good friend, Casper, and band representing and make-up with Mara. Remus and I discussed hairstyles but, to be honest, acting was one of the most debated subject of the evening. I also found out Valentin writes about interesting people as well, which can’t but please me! He has a look which perceives a lot, hasn’t he?

The chit chat I loved the most was the one I had with Jean. We barely knew each other. We had only spoken one to another over the phone and felt like we really had to meet. We talked about feelings and authenticity. There is no greater discussion than the one in which we see each other, we hear one another and feel things deeply, as far as I’m concerned.
P.S. he has the most beautiful tattoo in the world!
