I’ve been passing in front of this restaurant so many times, but never stepped in. Now, I will definitely visit it again since there’s nothing left from what used to be my ignorance. It has a new look, it is called Lugo and you can find it on 23 George Enescu Str. It looks like a wine bar and I think it’s a great location for dining. Warm, urban, intimate, it gives you a Mediterranean feeling and makes me bring my boyfriend here for dinner first and after, my friends. Let’s take a tour:
I had a coffee and felt like a little princess wearing the dress designed by Oana Nutu. You know, princesses will have a cappuccino from now and then. I also wore Vise Prinse in Par(“Dreams caught in your hair”), in case you wonder why my hair reflected such a wonderful light. You won’t believe for how long I’ve been waiting for these as they weren’t available in Romania. Therefore, if I should recommend you what to wear at Lugo, I would say grace and feminine (take out your dressing that tulle midi dress!).
Food: it’s been a blast this time too, I was just telling you how much I ate at The Temple, well, this time I ate twice as much! I started with something easy: ribs and golden rosemary wedges. At first I devoured the potatoes, I could feel the rosemary aroma and they were actually very good. When I see ribs I try using cutlery, but it’s like they don’t feel the same. I enjoyed eating the ribs with my bare hands. Tuna, beautifully plated, was next; the plating kind of knocked me out. I acted like a lady when eating it, don’t worry! At the end I seasoned a sea food platter with a glass of wine and spent 3 more hours chattering. I had to know what goes on there: events, people, and all.
Lugo? It’s fresh, worth exploiting it and it actually has great potential. You can have wine tasting, live music and good energy. So, coming for dinner or you’d rather have a fancy lunch?
